Fiji Update

We have completed all the screening visits to the special schools on the two main islands of Fiji and we are now in the process of fitting all the children who have a permanent hearing loss with hearing aids.

Some of these children need a special kind of hearing aid called a bone conductor hearing aid. One of these is a lovely little girl from Lautoka who was born without ear canals. She is now able to hear with this device. This girl is 5 years old. Her mother was overwhelmed by the experience of seeing her daughter react to sound so easily for the first time.  What a blessing to able to help this family. Let’s hope she finds success with her device and it helps with her development.
